I don`t know if this is possible:
At the moment you can attach your blog posts to (one?) of your trips.
A meeting post could be like blog post but with additional information (e.g. about time, meetingpoint (text description or exact positions,not only place) and how many participants needed to make the meeting settled).
The new thing would be, that not only you can add this post to a your trip but other people too could add this meeting post to their trips. Imagine how the map on https://www.bewelcome.org/trip would look like a few days before Berlin BeachCamp?. Hundreds of routes directing from all over the world to Berlin:)
Instead of everyone creating each an own blog post as subtrip for the BBC, those who want could take the main BBC-meeting post or submeeting posts.
