Welcome to all Hospitality Exchange Networks
BeVolunteer is a Non Profit Organisation where volunteers can organise their work in a democratic, open and transparent way. Free hospitality exchange is just the starting point!
Our main ideas and goals are:
- collective work
- active member participation
- democracy
- transparency
- a sound legal base
Our first step in that direction is the creation of a website, BeWelcome.org which we hope will be a happy addition to the already quite active Hospitality Exchange Community.
We don't consider ourselves competitors to the other networks, but more like brothers and sisters who may have different points of view, or even make completely different choices in life. But in the end we will always be part of a big family. A family that respects the other members, helps wherever they can, and cares about what happens in the world around them.
We do not want to steal your members, your features or your dreams. We have our own to take care of. But we do want to cooperate.
Here are some areas where cooperation could be a benefit to our members and our community:
- abuse control
- keeping profiles up to date, importing/exporting user data
- organizing meetings
- working on common cultural and social projects
- working together on a local basis
